What an on-site program looks like in a Richmond workplace
Richmond employers don’t need another app or a lunch-and-learn. They need a coach who shows up on the same days every week and makes training part of the working day. A TurnFit on-site program has four parts:
1. Monday / Wednesday / Friday on-site blocks
Your coach arrives for a four-hour block on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sessions run back-to-back, 48 minutes each, so people step out, train and get back to work. With two people per session, one block covers 10 people. That’s the setup at a Richmond biotech lab, where all 10 executives train every Mon/Wed/Fri.
2. 2-on-1 sessions, with 1:1 when it’s needed
Most people train in pairs. Each person gets real coaching and an individual program, and a partner who expects them to show up. We pair people by schedule and fitness level. Executives or staff who need privacy or an unusual schedule can train 1:1.
3. Off-day chat support
Progress doesn’t stop on Tuesday and Thursday. On days the coach isn’t on-site, participants can chat with their coaches, and everyone has a plan for their workouts and nutrition between visits. Your coach follows up with anyone who misses a session.
4. Progress you can see
We track participation and individual progress, so you can see who is training and how they’re doing. That’s more useful than a count of badge swipes at a gym.
How a short initial contract becomes a long-term program
We don’t ask Richmond companies to commit to a year before they’ve seen how their team responds. The usual path:
- Consult call. Headcount, who you want to include (leadership, staff or both), your space, and your shift or lab schedule.
- Space and schedule walkthrough. We look at your gym, boardroom or spare room and map back-to-back sessions around your operating day.
- Short initial contract. For example one month, on the real schedule, with the coach who will stay with you.
- Review and extend. We talk through how it’s going with HR and leadership. If it’s working, you extend, often to a longer contract.
- Keep going. Same coach, same Mon/Wed/Fri rhythm. You can add people or days as the program grows.
That’s exactly how our Richmond biotech lab program grew. A biological laboratory company started with a one-month contract, moved to a three-month contract, and has kept extending because the team loves it. It’s now nine months and counting. Read the case study.
Corporate pricing
Pricing is simple and hourly. A short trial and a long-term program use the same model; the rate per coach hour drops once you commit to a month or more.
- Commitments under one month: $350 per coach hour
- Commitments of one month or more: $250 per coach hour
Both rates include:
- Chat support with your coaches on the days they’re not on-site
- Programs designed around your team’s nutrition and workouts, so everyone knows exactly what to do and when
Example: a four-hour on-site block with one coach, like our Richmond lab’s Monday/Wednesday/Friday day covering 10 executives in 2-on-1 sessions, is $1,000 at the $250 rate (4 coach hours × $250). Five back-to-back 48-minute sessions fill the block, two executives at a time.
Most Richmond programs begin with a one-month contract, so they’re on the one-month-plus rate from day one. Book a consult and we’ll map your schedule and the hours it needs.
Logistics: space, equipment, shifts and onboarding
- Space. A workplace gym is ideal. A boardroom, training room or unused office also works. We check your space during the consult and build the program around it.
- Equipment. Minimal. We can run effective sessions with bodyweight and a small amount of equipment. If you have a gym, we use what’s already there.
- Shifts and lab schedules. Many Richmond workplaces run early starts, rotating shifts or time-sensitive lab work. Back-to-back 48-minute sessions inside one four-hour block keep time away from the bench or desk short and predictable.
- Onboarding. Each participant fills out an intake and health questionnaire and does a movement assessment before training starts. Standard programs take 2–3 weeks from first conversation to first session. We handle scheduling and the communication to your staff, so HR doesn’t carry the load.
- One point of contact. Scheduling, session changes and questions all go through one person at TurnFit.
- Scope. We’re certified trainers, not physicians. We coach around injuries and ask for medical clearance when it’s appropriate.

Frequently asked questions
Do you really come to our workplace in Richmond?
Yes. On-site is the point. A TurnFit coach comes to your Richmond workplace on a fixed schedule, usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and trains your people in your gym, a boardroom or any cleared room. A biological laboratory company in Richmond has had us on-site in its workplace gym for nine months, and the program is still running.
How many people can one coach cover in a day?
More than most people expect. At the Richmond biotech lab, our coach runs back-to-back 48-minute sessions with two executives at a time across a four-hour block. That covers all 10 executives every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We build your schedule the same way, around your headcount and the time you can give us.
Can you work around lab schedules, shifts and early starts?
Yes. We set training blocks around your operating day: before a shift change, over lunch, or at the end of a shift. Sessions run back-to-back so people can step out for 48 minutes and get back to work. Anyone who can’t make the block gets off-day check-ins and short routines to do on their own.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
No. We usually start with a short initial contract, for example one month, so your team can try the real schedule with the real coach. If it’s working, you extend. The Richmond biotech lab started with one month, moved to a three-month contract, and has kept extending since then.
How much does on-site corporate training cost?
On-site corporate training is priced per coach hour: $350 per coach hour for commitments under one month, and $250 per coach hour for commitments of one month or more. Both rates include chat support with your coaches on the days they’re not on-site, and programs designed around your team’s nutrition and workouts, so everyone knows exactly what to do and when. Example: a four-hour on-site block with one coach, like our Richmond lab’s Monday/Wednesday/Friday day covering 10 executives in 2-on-1 sessions, is $1,000 at the $250 rate (4 coach hours × $250). The one-month rate applies from the start of a one-month contract, which is how most Richmond programs begin.
Can executives train separately from staff?
Yes. Executives can have their own block. At the Richmond biotech lab, 10 executives train two at a time in 48-minute sessions. Staff can train 2-on-1 or in small groups at other times. Senior people who prefer privacy can train 1:1.
